from helping hands, and kind hearts.

from helping hands,

and kind hearts,

came a cautious question:

     what happened to you?

but how could i explain

the assault on my brain?

dying

eyes stare vacant

paralyzed, cant function.

ruled by numbness and fatigue, an

emptiness that has swallowed me whole.

seems that suicide is my only way to freedom.

silently, i can slip away

into the somber night

only with a knife-

no.

from helping hands,

and kind hearts,

came an urgent lesson:

     you are loved.

it is a small plea

that is so important to me.

here's to the friends with

open arms, open hearts.

people that believed in me

even when i didnt.

thank you. thank you.

because of you,

I have hope now.
