Her

With a single touch of her hand,

I am overwhelmed with a sensation that floods my entire body.

What a strange sensation this is…

The sky may be black, my burden heavy, the pain sharp, and the fear immense,

Yet I only notice her gentle hand.

What a strange sensation this is…

A single smile of her rosy lips,

I am overwhelmed with a sensation that makes my soul float.

What a strange sensation this is…

My whole world goes silent as all that surrounds me dissipates into nothing,

And all that remains is her.

What a strange sensation this is…

A single word with her soothing voice,

And her song echoes in every crevice of my mind.

What a strange sensation this is…

This sensation must be what they call love.

It seems that no matter how difficult my life may get,

How dark the times may be,

How heavy my burden may become,

As long as she is by my side, I will always be happy.

What an awesome life I live…
