Her

I am more than the secrets that lie between my legs.

You taught me that they were going to beg.

But if I loved myself more with a passion

then they would learn to have a little more compassion. 

It's not as easy as you made it seem.

But that's how I became stronger, I became my own team. 

You taught me about respect

and how to keep them in check.

You never told me who they were,

but you taught me about her.

She has been beamining for a while

You taught me about her smile.

About her voice

that made people walk miles

she talked about her trials.

She showed them her scars

and said they were the stars. 

She inspired me.

It took me a while to find her identity

until I spent the night in serenity.

I didn't know I had her in me until I

looked in the mirror and that's all I could see.
