In Her Dreams

In her dreams she slips away,

To a place far greater,

Than the one in which she resides.

She escapes her body,

Her reality of daily life.

And floats in the haze of sleep.

She glides with ease,

Never that she imagined before.

Now she knows true freedom of pain

In her dreams everything changed

Only to wake up and find

Constant reality at her doorstep.
