Here it Comes Again

Here it comes again,

The inevitable void

In the pit of my

Stomach.

 

Here it comes again,

The constant friction

Of the stiff threads

Keeping my head up high,

But not allowing me to

Be free.

 

Here it comes again,

The laughter that

Once echoed throughout the

Barren halls

Ceasing with a soft hush

And a silent cry.

 

 

Here it comes again,

The voices inside my head

Screaming to be free.

Stitch my throat together,

All you will hear is

A sigh.

 

Here it comes again,

The deafening silence

Of a newborn thought.

 

Here it comes again,

The unmistakable stone

That has taken the place of

Where my heart should

Be.

 

Here it comes again,

Maybe it's a new breath.

 

Here it comes again.

 

Here it will end.

 

Here I am to say

I'm sor-
