Hero?

Which of the world’s greatest fights will you fight?

Will you fight for the light or will you fight for the right to be right?

Will you fight for might or will you fight knowing that you might not be coming home?

And when you’re alone, will you continue the fight or will you just move along?

And who will you decide to save?

Will you save them all or just all who will give you praise?

Will you save the man who stays beside you or stay the hand that wants to slay another?

And when you can’t find your brother, will you search for him or just find another?

And how will you know who to hate or to love?

Will you love everyone for who they are or hate them for what they’ve done?

Will you just love your sons or will teach your sons to love each other.

And when you’ve lost your lover, will you be bitter or will you continue to love her?

And how will you decide to die?

Will you look to the sky and smile or will you look around and cry?

Will you wonder why or will you realize you’ve fought the good fight?

And when you enter that night, will there be others to carry on your light?

There might.
