Hi Daddy

As I stand in front

of you almost 18.

I wonder what

my life would be like.

Maybe you would've

been their for every

daddy- daughter dance

that I had to

miss because

you weren't

HERE.

For every birthday

I had since you left.

Where were you every Christmas

when I woke up

to see if you were

here.

But Baby Jesus dissappointed

me again.

Even for my

8th grade graduation

you missed

your chance

to take part of

my life.

I absolutely

despise you

for allowing me

to grow up

without

you daddy.

The one whi

supposedly

protect me from

harm and

guide me through

life.

But who am I

to be blind

pretending

you'll be back for me.

So

Bye, Daddy

Thank you

for Everything

You have

done

for

me.

Adíos Papi.

This poem is about:
Me
