High School Revolution (Scholarship Slam)

Location

Endless school days
Repetitive weeks
Express problems
In dire need of critique

Walking on campus
Is walking a runway
Your mind is flooded
With words they don't say

The passing glances
The quizzical stares
Defeating our chances
Judgment is unfair

The path of eggshells
Is only the beginning
Of the many hells
That keep us from winning

As you continue to stroll
There's no opportunity
No clubs, no thread
To bind a unity

No fun, no diversity
Not one single thing
That strikes out perversity
And lets our ideas sing

This campus is war
A battlefield for us all
The rumors and words
Cause many to fall

The surroundings are thrashed
The area is outdated
From a continuous clash
That I've always slated

Change is good
Many times its for the better
The misunderstood
Shall now become trendsetters

New views will arise
If we create a solution
From a low, to a high
The high school revolution
