Highschool's Version of Broadway

I have a love for the stage.
When I'm performing, I'm confident
And not filled with rage.
My theatre at school is so great.
My director's great, my friends are great, and the department is great.
It's filled with positivity and hard work
Never, ever hate.
We pick each other up.
We help each other out.
We don't do things in vain;
That's not what we're about.
We pick on each other,
We laugh with each other,
We learn what it means to be yourself, to love one another,
But it goes so much deeper than that.
These values we are taught, the mistakes we make
Every. Single. Day.
Shape us into something bigger, better.
With theatre, I began to blossom.
Year after year, after year, after year,
That's why theatre is so awesome.
