His Promise

When the glow of the bow in seven hues

Spans the horizon of wet rainy skies,

Whilst the sun is still out there shedding rays,

Remember His promise in many ways.

Trials and deep tumults are but life’s part.

Hovering clouds and rising waves do impart

That there will be days of peace and comfort.

His undying words shall glow within our heart..

Hasn’t He promised that He’ll wipe our tear?

Hasn’t He said that those who dearly bear

For him till end shall have the crown to wear?

When the world fails us, forget not His care.
