Holding on to Hope

The changes I see

were only meant to be.

God has a plan,

always told, but not a big fan.

Young naïve, no understanding

of what I should do.

Reassured was I,

that everything was fine.

They gave up life for bills, work--no time,

they sacrificed so much for mine.

Over the year I grew,

I didn't know I would, but God knew

Life is hard,

but I've made it through so far.

Thanks to God for comfort and trust,

I now know to get to the good, struggling is a must.
