Home

When I think of home,

I do not think of walls and floors.

I do not imagine an occupied dome

With some windows and doors.

Home is where love is felt.

Home is where you learn to smile.

Home is the place that makes your heart melt.

Home is worth walking the extra mile.

Home is where I am when I'm with you.

Your presence makes me content.

I know that your home is my home too.

I know your love is not up for rent.

When I am away, I long for home,

Just as I yearn for your touch.

Coming home is worth being gone.

You are why I love home so much.

I will not ever be alone.

Of this I have no doubt.

You are, indeed, my home;

You are what my life is all about.
