Homophones

What makes me tick to the point I feel sick?

Not knowing the difference between "your" and "you're."

Wow this poem will be quite a bore,

Sure they sound the same.

And you think spelling them correctly can be lame,

But they are two different words with two different meanings.

Sorry if the next sentence slightly hurts any of your felings.

You're an idiot for not listening when your teacher taught you the difference between the two.

Let's hope this sticks in your mind like glue.

The first "you're" is "you" and "are" combined to make one word.

The next "your" shows ownership like how you own your pet bird.
