Honor-bearers

Fri, 10/04/2013 - 01:00 -- a.lee1

Honor is nearly

Forgotten in this age

Cast aside by other,

Seemingly more important

Matters such as money

Fame, meaningless friends

But those who remember it

Stand stronger than

Those who have forgotten

That such an element exists

They stand taller, straighter

Some may call them

Old, set in their ways

Few see them for who they are

Honor-bearers

Few and far between

But stronger for their struggles

For honor does not crumble

Under attack of mortal elements

Untarnished from hypocrisy

Purified by God and faith

Honor lives in these

And they stand unafraid

The honorable have nothing to fear
