Hope Unseen

Location

I sit in my room all distraught

        I think of a far away land.

That day, I avoid in my thought;

        For one star, always glistening, I scan.

Though I know you are out of your sorrow,

                                    I weep for all that is lost.

The stars in heavens fill tomorrow

        With a hope that could never be bought.

One day I'll fly to that star

                                    I know you'll be waiting for me

Until that day comes, I gaze from afar,

        Though I go there quite often in dreams.

My mind unclear, I know my heart to be true.

                                    You are no longer here,

                                     but I'll always love you.
