Hourglass

Wed, 08/26/2015 - 00:00 -- nadikay

In an hourglass and the time is flowing
Life is going.
Growing and changing
Can only see your imprints for a minute
Usually forget to take the minute and realize it

Born around leaders?
So I  guess you stride with pride.
Or was it in the nature
In our veins written with the grains of time

When I was little I wanted to be a princess
Told that I was...
So were the 13 other little girls in my class
I grew up and learned
Not everything lasts

In an hourglass and time is flowing
Life is going.
Growing and changing
Can only see your imprints for a minute
Usually forget

I'm not the same person from my past
Learned that everyones got a secret
And just because there may be similarities
Between 2 pasts
Doesn't mean the hearts have been Beaten
And Molded the same

Life isn't a mistake.
And with each imprint I make
I take a breath and learn from it
Cause who knows how long I have in this
Hour glass
