How Ana sees herself

Ana is only fourteen,

She looks in the mirror,

She doesn't like what she sees,

Her body looks fat, it's becoming clearer.

Ana doesn't like to eat,

But sometimes she is forced too,

When she does she makes herself puke as a cheat,

She doesn't like what she sees so she drew.

How can someone love her when she's fat,

She weighs 95 pounds,

She writes to a friend to chat,

She runs all around town.

Ana is slowly killing herself,

and she doesn't even know it,

She puts her darkest memories on the shelf,

She doesn't want to quit.

Poor little Ana never saw her beauty,

And now it's to late for anyone to save her,

Her parents made it their duty,

To make sure that no other kid feels like that in a blur.
