"How Are We"

Tue, 11/06/2018 - 09:34 -- RD1775

How are we to be free when the color of our skin is stereotyped?

How are we to be free when our religion is criticized by others?

How are we to live happy when we can’t even love the person we want to?

How are we to find ourselves when no one lets us see?

How are we to be happy when we can’t express ourselves?

How are we to love ourselves when the whole world doesn’t agree?

How are we to walk outside not knowing whether or not we’ll come back?

How are we to be successful when some aren’t fortunate to get a college degree?

How we are to eat when figure is everything?

How are we to feel beautiful when our boobs may not be a size bigger?

How are we to dress nice when we don’t go to the mall?

How are we to laugh when life hits us at our hardest?

How are we to decide what to wear when all clothes have a gender tag on it?

How are we to love when we never been loved?

How are we to fight when our world is against us?

How are we to live safely when the environment's days are numbered?

How are we to be our true selves when we are criticized?

How are we to be us?
