Why the streets evolve around aggression

People stressing

Unlearned lessons

And oppression

But these the streets people protecting

With they life

He tryna get his family right

Get it in get it out by the night

He supposed to be a kid in daylight

Sleep by midnight

But he out in street fights under the street lights

Guess he livin the street life

He don’t really want that though

He just don’t want his mom that broke no more

Move her to a better home

He does it all on his own

He a big boy now

But he still not grown

One day he thinks he wants to get away

Get to a better place

Move his family where it safe

But it’s a little too late

Cause hes caught up in a case

Battling with the state

Tryna send him away

For an accidental homicide

You can see the tears in his mother eyes

You can hear the fear in his daughters cries

Neither of them ever got to say goodbye

How it feel how it feel

Tell me how it feel dealin with a story so real

Facts so hard it makes it hard to deal

His girlfriend heart was hard to steal

But now it’s so broke down that it’s hard to heal

Everybody know scars are hard to shield

So let’s take what appeals to the mind

And let’s see what appears when we find

And take a step back and disappear with the crime
