Howling Under The Moon - From 'Lonely Road' (My 5th Book)

Wed, 05/25/2016 - 15:39 -- Meely

I stand there by the light,

And howl under the moon,

The pale face removed of blood,

I feel with my icy fingers,

And allow sad wisps of breath

Seep along the rolling hills

Where I feel at ease,

I howl under the moon,

An unholy song of pain,

And allow myself to hold my figure,

Upon my tiny back,  beams of light,

And the gentle pouring of rain and

The strong breeze of wind,

That causes me to lose my balance

Where I feel at ease,

I howl under the moon,

And twitch in angry motion,

Because I can not smile,

When I can not see tomorrow,

And with those hands of cold,

As stoney as my heart,

I howl under the moon.
