On The Hunt

I waited there for hours,

You said he would be here.

I can’t believe I listened,

But I won’t shed another tear.

You have hurt me for years now;

You promised me a new man.

You say that you will get me one;

The most handsome in the land

So now the wait is over,

I’ve decided to take action.

I’m going to hunt you down, you see,

And get my satisfaction.

My passion is a new one,

To me, you’ll no longer lie,

For when I get you in the crosshairs,

I’ll shout, “Cupid, you will die!”

This is very well written :)

Thanks! I have despised the idea of Valentine's Day for years. I feel this pretty much sums that up.
