Hurry Up I'm Dying

Waiting on a corner for my loved one.

Time seemed to go by like cars that just passed.

Staring across the street ready to run.

If only the rain did not fall so fast.

Raindrops poking my face machining me cry.

I try to contain it but it won’t stay back.

The wind holds my hand as I slowly die.

Darkness consumes me as I sign the pact.

My eyes freeze with joy as I hear your voice.

Briefly the rain stops as you come to me.

Once cold droplets warm up as if by choice.

Tears glide down my face for now I am free.

Bringing your lips down to mine as its rains.

The smell of sweet water relieves my pain.
