I’m sorry

I was mean to you

Didn’t understand the consequences of the things I used to do

I said some words I wish I could take back

I really should’ve cut you some slack

I tore you apart because of how you lived

But now I’m asking if you’re willing to forgive

If you’re not I completely understand

But I realize now that I was wrong

I should’ve been kinder

I thought I was an angel but my wings were on fire

But now I’ve grown and I realize my mistakes

And they will forever haunt all my days
