I am the rose that grew from concrete.

No, I am not drained like the other lifeless souls who drag around the neighborhood ; nor am I a follower who is easily influenced.

I am a woman of power, of strength and courage, intelligence and respect- and I might even be said to be a significant role model.

I am the rose that grew from concrete, understand, simply because no one ever noticed  me.
Like the dog who chases it's tail, it is as though I am surround by pure ignorance.

When they approach me they see only my curves, breast, or images of what they want to do to me- indeed my physical appearance but not me.
