I Am
I am the satisfying sound the metal bat generates when it comes in contact with the ball and the sensation of the dirt rubbing in the cleats.
I am the slight force that moves the ball delicately through the air.
I am the excitement achieved when putting on a uniform.
I am the humble splash in the pool from a clean cut dive and the stride in every stroke taken.
I am the dirt launched airborne when sliding into home.
I am the adrenaline when diving for a catch and the heart felt pain when losing a game.
I am the small waves and ripples traveling throughout the water.
I am the excitement and joy when a race is won.
I am Madison and this is me.
