I am....

I am abandoned and unwanted. I wonder if anyone will ever love me for who I am I hear the pleas of the young and the hopeless I see the people with their false smiles I want a home, sweet home to call my own. I am abandoned and unwanted I pretend to be happy when.... I feel the world crash around around me I touch the cold, dying Earth I worry about the future as life passes by I cry to myself in pain and sorrow I am abandoned and unwanted I understand I am all alone I say things might never change I dream of a better tomorrow I try to be something I am not.. I hope someone will take me home I am abandoned and unwanted
