I'm afraid to take the first step.
I'm afraid you'll hurt me.
I'm afraid that I won't be what you wanted.
I'm afraid of getting hurt again.
I'm afraid you'll stop caring.
I'm afraid you won't understand me.
I'm afraid to get attached again.
I'm afraid you won't accept me for who I am.
I'm afraid it won't work out.
Because in the past, it never did.
