I Am Against Racism

I Am Against Racism

I am a believer, in the fact that racism is a major issue in the world

I wonder how life would have been if it had never existed

I hear all these prejudiced and racist comments

I see that the world today is still filled with discrimination

I want to do something about it, but can I?

I am a believer, in the fact that racism is a major issue in the world

I pretend not to see this happen wherever I go

I feel the extreme agony of how people get treated unfairly because of what they are

I touch the newspaper and read the sorrow race-related stories

I worry that there will not be a world of peace and non-violence

I cry since I can not do anything to stop this ongoing issue

I am  a believer, in the fact that racism is a major issue in the world

I understand that racism is always be around

I say to myself, “ If Martin Luther King could make a change, then anyone can”

I dream that someday everyone will be able come together

I try to accept things the way they are, BUT

I hope that ultimately there can be a change

I am a believer, in the fact that racism is a major issue in the world- UNLESS we can work together as one
