I am here, but you don't see me.

Location

Every day I am in your classroom

You call my name and occasionally speak to me out side of class

But what you don't know and can not see

The cuts that run deep

The knife in my side

I cover them all from your sight

The words that cut me

you hear but take as a joke

Stupid, worthless, broken, and fat

Ugly, unwanted, and a big piece of shit

The world would be better off with out me

They laugh and make fun but each word

Each word is a new bullet in my heart

Each word is a new cold, steel blade that slides through my skin

Each word creates a new river of blood.

Blood that you cant see

I want to tell you

I want you to know

But I must remain mute

They have sewn my lips shut using my own hand

Can't you see when you look me in the eye?

Can't you see when you see me in the hall?

No, of course you can't

You can't see through the mask I wear

Can you?

Every day I'm in your classroom

You call me by name and occasionally speak to me outside of class

How I want to speak

How I want to scream

But how can I if my words fall upon dead ears?

Please hear me out

Please listen to me

Please....save me
