I Am Just Pretty

Location

They say Dijah you'd be a baddie if you only lost a couple pounds

I'm not going to dit around and act like I ain't thought about it

A perfect body is more appealing but it's funny how

I'm a size 16 and look at how fierce I look in these outfits

People always say "You look pretty for a big girl"

Would I be "just pretty" if I wasn't a big girl

Like Nicki Minaj said "You can tell I ain't missing no meals"

I'm giving ya'll my heart so ya'll can see how I feel

There's a lot of pressure

To be a size 10 or lesser

Buying steppers and waist suppresors

To get smaller clothes in our dressors

People always say "You look pretty for a big girl"

Would I be "just pretty" if I wasn't a big girl

Being a thick chick doesn't define me

I stand a foundation for females that stand behind me

Cause what we do as women is conform to an image

But that image is conformed by sex appeal and attention

Vogue magazine subscriptions

Weight supplement prescriptions

Gym memberships and fitness

Mascara foundations and lipsticks

Though there is nothing wrong for taking care of your body

And changing your style for the season

Ladies make sure you're doing it for the right reason

Lose weight because your doing it for your health

Not so you can add another man underneath your belt

People always say "You look pretty for a big girl"

Would I be "just pretty" if I wasn't a big girl

No I'm not downing anyone who is skinny so don't get offended

I'm just saying that the point of view on beauty has been messed up and twisted

I can't help but remember those made me feel down about my size

I even wore layers of shorts underneath my pants to hide the fat around my thighs

And when I felt insecure because my skin wasn't white

So I wore so foundation 4 shades too light

But women embrace your curves

Don't be afraid to look gorgeous

Cause I woke up like this and I am most definitely flawless
