I am not angry

I am not angry

I have no qualms

with the way you teach.

Besides,

Nobody takes the time to

step into your

polished,

fitted

Balmorals.

You actually do care about

the lives

of

...

honor students.

What about

that football player

who cost his team

the victory

because

his arbitrary number

was less than 2.0?

What about

the lost,

the hungry,

the manipulated?

It's not your fault

you mean to teach

as you

were taught

and

as they

were taught.

But

you are just preparing us

for the nasty real world.

The one where bells ring

to resume the work,

monotonous work,

of piling

assembling

and painting

the toys you played with

when you were young.

What if I want more

than preparation for

the real world

full of

of the worst?
