I Am Not A Test Score

I am not just a test score
I am made of so much more than my GPA might say
Not all grades reflect work ethic
I am motivated
I have a voice that should be heard
Someday I will get a chance to be heard
I will take the risk of being told that
I am too young or that
I just don't understand
My dreams are nothing to be laughed at
Who knows
I could become great in the eyes of the world
But instead here I am
Stuck in the mud because
I was defined by something I am not
I am not just a test score
