I Am One with the Tree

6 December 2014

The wind the secrets tell,

Through the rustling leaves’ swell,

Into the roots deeply as well,

I hear by animals, by humans.

Year by year, day by day,

Walk and sway we may,

Small to large and shed to fill, are the way,

I view life’s changes.

Spring, all flowers bloom,

Unique odors filling the air’s room,

Adorning all like a scent’s womb,

I inhale the perfumes.

Plop plop, drip drip,

Water fills the roots’ lip,

Refreshing powers rip,

I swallow the life force.

The heart and eye,

Odd and wise it lie,

The soul at the center by,

I stand on ground feeling vitality, my spirit.
