I Am Strong

Stronger than I thought really

I have bones made of the finest metals

I can

withstand anything that comes my way

I have been through so much and am still standing

God has given me all the tools I need

Even when all seems lost, I am reminded of who I am

I Am Strong

They said I would not be able to care for myself because of my disability

Guess what? They were wrong! 

I am in college now and am fully capable of caring for myself.

I am a strong, independent young woman

I strive for great things in life, to help those in need

I want to get married one day and know that that is possible
