As I walk through the streets of the city

I see people stare as I walk by

My mind makes me think of why

but my heart knows why

As i walk by people I am always polite

but they always wonder why

I walk into downtown and I see a mirror

what i see is not only a polite individual

but also a smart one

one that will help people with anything

someone thats dependable and resilient

who works hard to meet his goals

poeple ask why I'm so nice

and I tell them

life is what you make it

make the world a better place

you are what you make yourself to be

there's to much hatred in this world you see
