I Can Come Out Now

I run, I shoot, and I throw.

Am I  not a girl?

Sports are my life and so is my bow.

Can I not be active?

Flats over heels

Just like sweats over skirts.

Am I not feminine?

I can't wear my sweats with them.

"It's not ladylike"

So what does it mean to be a girl?

Why do I have to hide?

"Are you gay?"

Does loving a football make me gay?

No, I'm not gay.

And running 2 miles in 15 minutes

Doesn't change anything.

Society will not hold me back from shooting my arrows.

I am free to dribble until my heart's content.
