I Can't see in the Dark

I can't see in the dark.My footsteps only bring me in deep. How am I supposed to take a leap? When I'm gone, what should be my mark? My feet stumble as I go.What lies before me?A creature in the dark sea,Waiting to devour in the faint glow? The fear overcomes my soul. The worry spreads through my veins.I am held back in chains. Will I ever get back what that thief stole? Then a bright light shines on the ground. Each step is held steady. But how can I know I am ready?Every mood is still around. Yet somehow, I am carried aglow. The sight forms in front of my eyes.Faith, what a beautiful disguise. There I learn, I can grow.
