I Chose

Faced with the inevitable truth
Unavoidable , Life changing
Immaturely faced with the irreversible option of
Death

TO end all of the drama
TO end all of the frustration
TO end all of the pressure

There was only one way I thought I could end all of the chaos,
Suicide

Suicide was the way out for my own mother
So I thought, "Hey I'm next"
But how, with a knife ?
Or a traditional hanging?

Before I hung myself someone peeked in the doorway
All I could see was puffy drenched eyes
Salty tears falling and a devastated young girl
My daughter.

She screeched, "Mommy no I need you I love you"
That's when it all hit me I chose my life and more importantly my daughter
I chose

Life.
now its your turn.
