Pursuit of Happiness

We don't cry because we're sad

We cry because it's something we never had.

I could watch my happiest moments fly by

and I'd feel ignorant to think that once I

was happy and free

to think that we

had a life of our own

Right to the pursuit of happiness

But never happiness

Nothing is guaranteed

What do i want

I just want to be free

To think how i want

To be at peace in my own mind

As i type this i hate this

Just as i hate life

It's useless and pointless

But yet be strive

For greatness and joy each and everyday

It's just a distraction

Before we are slain.
