I Have Her Love

Since birth, I've had her love.

Although I'm one of many, I've had her love.

She carries the heart of an Angel with a bit of spice.

She carries the foundation of the family.

Her prescence gives me joy and security.

Her prescence gives me radiance and inspiration.

The departure of my grandpa caused a great depression.

With this depression caused a great sickness.

With this sickness caused a great defeat.

I witnessed her pain from losing my grandpa to the heavens.

I witnessed her struggle to stay strong.

I witnessed her soul depart from her body.

All I have are the memories of us eating at El Rodeo everyday.

All I have are the recollections of her dancing and singing at every party.

This misfortune greatly affected the way I live my life.

This misfortune challenged my inner strength

and taught me to appreciate the smallest of treasures.

My grandma gave me the gift of happiness and joy since my childhood.

My grandma's death gave me the gift of loss and despair,

but I will always have her love.
