I Have a Mask

Location

Fear and doubt are what describe me

I hide behind a mask filled with dazzling colors and glitters

There isn't a pint of confidence inside my body

"What a beautiful life she must have!" everyone murmurs

But in reality I am not joyful as everyone believes

I am a puppet.

Ruled by others and completely unable to make her own choices

I am a bird whose wings have been cut off and is forced to settle

But I have mask!

One filled with dazzling colors and glitters,

which hides the other person I've trapped inside.
