I Hear Your Voice

I hear your voice

As I sit in the silence of my lonely red bedroom

I hear your voice

As I try to convince myself that I don’t need one more drink

I hear your voice

As I walk through the streets where we once laughed, where we once hugged, where we once kissed

I hear your voice

On the loneliest of days when I’m at my lowest point

I hear your voice Just when I find myself losing you, our memories and the very essence that kept me alive all of this time

I hear your voice

Sometimes it’s faint, sometimes it’s like a soft whisper, but I’m okay as long as

I hear your voice

It’s like you’re still with me somehow, you seem closer, no longer a distant memory because

I hear your voice
