I Hope This Reaches You

I wasn't sure how much more to say to you.

So I hope my verses reach you

and that you may come back to us.

Lately you have been missing.

Stuck in a dark dark cave. A deep hole of depression.

Seems like there's nothing good in the world nowadays.

I know, you told me not to take it personal and I'm not.

But you gotta hear me out. Do you hear me?

Can you hear when I say that I miss you?

Or when your mom reminded you of how much she loves you and

that no matter what you will always be here baby.

Did you hear her?

That's family. Though some of us are blinded by anger and grudges, do not let it fool you.

Because you are just as important as each and every one of us.

You have your kids who are small now but they won't always be.

Don't you want to be able to guide them every step of the way they make into this crazy life?

The life that you and I are both walking on right now?

Don't you miss smiling because I sure do when you did.

You encouraged me a lot in the past. Never put me down.

So now its my turn to say to get up. On your feet. Counting.

Its time to come back and remember how to live despite all the bad in the world.

Maybe we can do something about it together.

But for now, hear me out, I beg of you.

My hand is reaching out to you and I need you to take it,

take it before its too late.
