I make sure I look

I make sure I look over my shoulder...

Because someone else might act upon their thoughts

It seems that every though is a terrorist plot

I constantly imagine killing people I see

Much like a virus or disease, I don't discriminate, but not because I can't

If you caught me a few years ago, maybe, just maybe I wouldn't be able to discriminate

Society has been working on me and now it's just too late

I see myself, putting a knife in your gut, and a bullet in her eye

One lead pipe to his right brain, and a strike of blue lightning upon that fast-moving car

No, I don't know them or you, nor any know me

But that's what I'd do

So, I make sure to look over my shoulder

Because someone else might act upon their thoughts

Or their views or opinions of me

Even though, I AM BLACK

I may be a little psychotic too

Psychotic enough to learn how to spell the word and constantly act as if I weren't

Psychotic enough to learn how to blend in with the beings, even if only physically

Psychotic enough to act my best to this point, 17 years in, based on information I have gathered

Phsychotic enough to understand how they think

So, I make sure to look over my shoulder

Because someone else may act upon their thoughts
