I never got to say goodbye

Like a wave crashed down
The tide pulled my soul
My sister so dear
Never made it to old
The emptiness grows
The pain won’t subside
The unseen affects
When you commit suicide
I can never say bye,
Never hold your hand
I love you so much
But your times out of sand
And the tears still fall
When the emptiness wanes
When the anger subsides
And I allow in the pain.
I miss you little sister
One day we’ll be whole
But until then
my tears drown my soul.

Very good message, but like many others, it seems this poem is to fast due its punctuation setup. When reading poetry, readers only pause at punctuation, and this poem is nearly impossible to read aloud when apply by that poetic rule. With that said, I loved the poem and its message.

Powerful expression!
