I Never Told Anyone

Location

I suppose I should have told you

About the test that I aced

It wasn’t me that wrote it

The brain next to me did.

It seemed so easy because

He puts his paper on the floor

And no one ever saw a thing

When I snagged that easy A.

Everyone seemed to copy homework

So I thought, why not on a test?

I never thought I would need to spell

Every word you taught.

It seems silly to tell you now

Because I’m no longer in your class

But I just wanted you to know

Now I always have trouble spelling honesty.
