I Once Was a Child

Location

I once was a child,

ignorant of the Devil’s orchestrations

whereas Overconfidence intimidated Priority.

Delivery of divine desire upon request

though a coveted dream in disguise-

however a convenience to Heart-is

too much blossomed as a fairy tale;

arrogance only but a bittersweet apple,

downgrading Potential with its irate temptations.

Two gems on my necklace, black and red,

what has been dearest to me,

combating for my attention.

Four gray stones on my bracelet

not as dazzling as my gems,

attempted to sway Satisfaction.

Demonic prowess, a hazy mist initiating

demands via Selfish Passion:

what had locked myself in Lion’s cage,

the occurrence oppressing my ill-minded mission;

conversely, Intimate Reward, an enlightened sunrise

embellishing opportunity via Commendable Intention:

what had unleashed me from my prison,

the moment altering the stipulations of my pursuit.

Though once I was a child,

though I have almost endured the Ultimate End

by my own hands,

I am Victorious of Future.
