I Owe You

Light shone on me in the earliest youth

I grew up and learned the truth,

Crazy enough life may laugh,

At the things you say, at your made up tasks.

At age 12 they started to make sense

They started to bend and mend my tend,

16 I smile at the previous works

And stop in my tracks at your memorable smirks

Now you watch with eagle eyes

The child you birth with pride, in a world of disguise

She distinguishes herself from a hazy demise

From one gaze of your eyes, she knows she can break down and cry

Cheers !

To my mother and father too;

I hope one day I grow up and be like you.

I owe you.
