I hate you, but wish nothing but the best for you.

That was the most fun I've ever had lying even though you're not my type.

Then again girl isn't your type so I guess we're even.

You couldn't tell your parents the truth so I lied for you.

You knew how to cheer me up when I didn't think life could ever go on again.

We were best friends and I'll never forget that.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing though.

All the times we laughed, cried, screamed, and danced like idiots together.

I can still remember the day you told me,

our feet in my pool, laughing and gossiping.

I saw it coming honestly and I still never broke our promise.

To this day I think that guy is still afraid of me for threatening to beat him up for making fun of you.

If I could take it all back I would, but I know by now you don't give a shit.

I blame myself for kissing him, I knew you deserved to be there more than he did.

But then again you didn't think anything was meant to last anyways.

I just always thought you'd at least keep your promise.

Silly me.
