I Remember What I Want to Forget

This is what I have left,

The last connection to who I used to be.

I write to remember,

I write to forget,

I write to find where eternity meets the end.

I write about hope,

Long since lost

Attempting to revive it at little cost.

I write the story of darkness

That I let no one see,

The contradiction of how you know me.

I write to seek out the lonely,

The forgotten,

The hurt.

I seek to help the fearful,

The misunderstood ,

The broken.

I seek to give a voice.

I write to tell the story,

The nightmare I live,

The many regrets,

Tell people everything I want to remember

Everthing I want to forget .
